Bring on the Jack-o-lantern
Whether you're five or fifty, there's something magical about a flickering jack-o-lantern that makes your heart race a bit. No, it's not just for the kids! It's Halloween, and almost every door step has a spooky, glowing face peeking out through a carved pumpkin.
Halloween was started back in the 19th century. This holiday was celebrated to worship and honor the dead. David and I are celebrating with our friends who got married 40 years ago on Halloween night. We will probably have a wonderful meal at Longhorn Steak House. Followed by a trip through the cemetery for good measure.
Boo!
