Stick Person Swimming Wearing Eye Goggles clipartExercise

Here's why it's so hard to exercise this time of year: You wake up, it's dark. It's cold. Your bed is warm and you want to stay there. If you do snooze, promising yourself you'll exercise later, you'll realize something else: It's also dark and cold on the way home from work or running errands. Your house is warm, well ours is 68 degrees and has good things like food and beer and TV and warm showers, unlike the big, stinky gym, actually ours doesn't smell to me, or maybe I am used to it. But it does have big steel machines that glare at you as soon as you walk in.
It's hard to get past these issues, but there is good news: A little bit of exercise goes a long way and the most important benefit is that even just a few minutes can lift your mood. Not a bad trade off. My problem is, when I get to the gym I go bananas. I usually stay three to four hours. The truth is , a little exercise really does go a long way. Fifteen minutes of walking can reduce cravings for everything from smoking to chocolate. So get out there bloggers and get fit.
