Saturdays Pumpkin Carving
Every year I have everyone over to do a little pre Halloween pumpkin carving with a bonfire and dinner. The first step is hollowing out the pumpkin. Looks like Alex is on the job.  This year the day started out with sunshine soon fading, and windy breezes prevailing. No fires this year, but pumpkin carving was great. Seven in all and an abundance of pumpkin seeds to bake and pumpkin goo for the chickens to peck on. We finished with vegetarian chili and  pea salad with a blueberry cream cheese pound cake. YUM!
