I found this hen inside the chicken house yesterday. She was bearly alive. I picked her up, and put her under a tree, where I sprinkled her with water, and ducked her beak in water too. She had a heat stroke. She couldn't stand or walk. It was so sad to see her like that. I nursed her all day with food and water, and by the evening she was fit to be put back in the chicken yard. This morning she is chipper and back to normal. This is one reason why I have to be on the lookout and stay right here.
Spaghetti Squash
 More squash. This time Zuchinni
Tomato Plants. They are loaded. I hope to make more salsa this year.
The first Sunflower of the season.
This is an Acorn squash. Baked in the oven, halved, buttered  and honey drizzled on it.

I took off the old pea vines and David tilled this spot for me to put in fall peas. Got them planted and low and behold, as you can see, the chickens got in the ground for a dust bath. I couldn't get mad though. I don't know what I would do without my chickens.
