Saint James Art Fair

The St. James Court Art Show is a juried fine art and fine crafts show. Always held the first full weekend in October, it hosts an impressive 750 artists in North America. Held in the heart of historic Old Louisville among the country's largest collection of Victorian homes. David and I used to go to the craft fair when we were dating. So you can see how long this fair has been in existance. It started in St. James Court. Above are the beautiful houses in this couryard neighborhood. Since then it has covered many square miles.
Don't you just love my bee necklace? Hand crafted by Susan Parry of Signal Mountain TN. The first picture was taken by David. This house was where David's grandparents lived, and where David spent a year with them. Kim and I are checking it out. He said at the time, there wasen't a tree in sight. Of course you take 50 years, and things certainly change. It was a wonderful day spent with family.
