Celebration Of The Arts
David, my husband, is such a talented artist I just had to find a way for him to enter a competition. I attend a Yoga class with a lady who paints and submits her paintings every year. She gave me some information on the Art Exhibition in February. I think I have David convinced to enter 2 of his works.
This competive exhibition, is open to all Kentucky residents 18 years of age or older, living within a 65-mile radius of Bowling Green. The exhibition will be located at the Kentucky Library and Museum on WKU's campus. Wish David luck!
On to another subject. This is hard to believe, but David always buys me a calendar every year, and has been doing so since we have been married. In the 31 years I have never gotten a calendar missing a month in it. Well, thanks to Barnes and Noble, I have had to exchange 2 calendars. I am a bit ticked. I am not quality control for anyone. One was missing the month of October. The other August. Then on top of that, Barnes and Noble didn't want to exchange the calendar. They were going to give me half of the dollar amount back. I settled with a Lighthouse calendar which I am not fond of, but whats a girl to do?
