Summer Has Finally Arrived

In most places the best nectar flows are in the Spring which can slow to a trickle in Summer. If not an outright dearth. What does that mean for our bees and us beekeepers? By taking too much of the Spring honey I may be depriving my colonies of some much needed honey reserves during the Summer dearth. I removed 4 frames. A colony that suffers from malnourishment can take weeks, if not months to recover so make sure your colonies don't run out of food.
Cheers!
