Importance of Balance
Balance is a major component of physical fitness, but is commonly underestimated. Balance is your ability to overcome instability and is directly related to flexibility and strength. That is why my Yoga class is so important to me. By training to develop better balance there will also be improvement in coordination, posture and athletic skill. Balance challenges the body to stabilize outside of its comfort zone and that is why we must focus on strengthening the muscles that control our balance.
